Yes, the world is broken. But a lot of women (and men) are still finding ways to be reasonably happy. We want to be left alone. We don't want fascist governments constantly trying to take away our rights and going out of their way to make us miserable. You say you're treated with less and less respect despite doing everything right? Well, join the club. Women know that feeling extremely well, and we still deal with all kinds of unfairness even as we make our way forward. If some men have decided they're not going to help, then the least they can do is not blame women for their problems and post about how they want to rape and murder us. You don't like having assumptions made about you? Well, women don't like death threats. They don't like being stalked and harassed the minute they leave their homes, which still happens all the time even in this new "woke" world. Like I basically said the article: If you want a robot girlfriend and you can afford one, then have at it. If I were single, I would probably get one too. Leave us alone, and it if doesn't work out, don't go shoot up a school and blame it on your AI companion. If you want something more than a robot girlfriend, then you're obviously going to have to deal with actual women, their thoughts, and their respective need to have their humanity recognized and respected.

Finally, if you really "learned" anything about emotional maturity, it's that you don't even need a partner in order to be a stable, self-sufficient, content person.

To your credit: If you managed to raise a child by yourself, and you're still alive and halfway sane, and you have a place to live, you have food and clothing, then you should just be proud of that. Relax.

It sounds like you did your job. It didn't get you everything you hoped out of life. That's kind of how life works.
