Yes, quite a few. :) Generational wealth used to be commonplace here in the U.S., at least for some groups. Thanks to the skyrocketing cost of healthcare, I’m seeing more and more families having to liquidate their parents’ estates just to pay off medical debt. There’s also something to be said for dehumanizing your family and turning your living parents into an asset. I mean if we’re that bad off, that’s a sign things need to change.
