Yep, it’s definitely political. There was a massive defunding of mental health in the 1980s and 1990s. The mental health crisis feeds right into poverty and homelessness, violence, and drug addiction. I see so many people (especially on the right) just blame the individual because that’s easier and cheaper. Talk about lazy…
