Yep, it looks like public education is going the way of public health. You can only get it if you can pay for it now. Yesterday I saw a parent complaining about her child’s “inexperienced” first time teacher, and it reminded me that a lot of them are just too dumb to ever recognize that *they’re* the reason why all the experienced teachers are quitting, and leaving them with ever more “unqualified” replacements who they’ll never give a chance.
