Ugh, exactly. I literally was thinking to myself earlier, if we actually did find another habitable planet, we would ruin it in 30 years, because we would just drag all of our industrial, consumer driven attitudes there. And as for terraforming planets and making floating forests in space, I'm right with you. At best, they would be tourist resorts for the super rich. Besides, at this rate humanity isn't going to make it long enough to be able to build floating forests in space. After 60 years of space exploration, we're still just barely grazing space with little planes. What a joke...
