True, teaching has gotten a lot better, but universities (as a whole) have gotten worse. They get in the way of the innovations we've made in curriculum design and pedagogy. Progressive, innovative teachers are praised in a superficial sense, but they're constantly under siege. This is the life of every educator I know.
