This comment hits hard. It hasn't gotten that bad for me yet, but it's getting there fast. Some students still care, but there's enough obstacles to make it extremely difficult. You're right that parents, politicians, celebrities, and your average joe sends such negative vibes about education that it makes our jobs like dragging a stone up a hill. Then they'll blame schools and "the lack of critical thinking" for anti-vaxxers.
