The only thing that matters is whether the choir likes you, and it looks like they do!

I’ve taught at HBCUs (historically black colleges/universities). Not a white person on that campus, except for me. They didn’t really care. Well, they would ask me questions like “Why do white people do X?” For example, “Why do white people listen to Kanye West and then turn around and say a bunch of racist shit?”

That was a wonderful year. It basically changed my life.
