That's true. My point here is that Hollywood took ideas like this (degrowth) and presented them in the most nefarious way possible. Like I said, nobody really thinks eliminating half of all human life would help. Thanos is a comic book stand in for the radical approaches we need, though, that most people consider outlandish or negative.
