Most people your son's age barely make $50K a year, if that, and don't even begin to have the means or generational privilege you've described. Millennials have been completley shut out of the stock market. Three out of four don't invest, because they don't have the disposable income to risk. Not everyone desires to get MBAs and then go to work for Fortune 25 companies, which is a good thing--because we need teachers and nurses and social workers, none of which are paid what they're worth. It's the very elevation of that lifestyle that's making the world unlivable for everyone else, and creating a system that leaves essential workers destitute. The point of the article is that if you're in this situation, then the last thing you should do is jump on the bitcoin/asset train thinking it's going to make up for a broken system.
