Joe Biden Is Driving Us Straight Off a Cliff
It’s time to stop the car.
I can’t believe I’m saying this, but…
It’s hard to know who’s worse these days, Biden or Trump. That’s saying a lot, because Republicans have shown a complete willingness to sabotage the economy and endanger the lives of their own supporters. They proved that much last year by spewing endless misinformation about a deadly virus. Most recently, the governor of Texas destroyed hundreds of millions of dollars in food at the Texas border for a political stunt.
Democrats aren’t doing much better. What they lack in malicious strategy, they make up for with incompetence.
It’s quite a contest.
Biden is endangering lives.
Let’s get one thing clear about the pandemic.
It’s not over.
Every day, we find out more about the chronic illness brought on by Covid. We know at least 17 million Americans are suffering prolonged sickness, and that many of them will wind up on permanent disability. We also know that Covid threatens the lives and health of children, especially those five and under who remain unvaccinated. We know that vaccinated people are routinely getting infected and spreading the virus. Finally, we know that our current vaccines have a limit, and we’ve nearly reached it.
Sure, we have Paxlovid.
Good luck finding it.
The Biden administration has done a terrible job managing the second phase of this pandemic. Instead of protecting our health, they’ve chosen to convince everyone that they’re eventually going to get Covid, and that we don’t need mask mandates until hospitals are full.
These policies have teed up a cascade of new variants, each one more contagious and dangerous than the last.
This is a train wreck of public health policy. It’s going to lead to hundreds of thousands of additional deaths.
Most public health experts agree.
Democrats aren’t listening.
