I’ve see that study, but I’ve also seen a study that vaccine-immunity produces more dynamic antibodies that can latch onto multiple areas of the virus, not just one. That fits with the live data too, since unvaccinated people seem to keep getting really sick with covid regardless of a previous infection, while vaccinated people might still spread it but fend it off much better (like you say).
