It’s always difficult to know which is the right call. We all play mind games with ourselves. Getting a PhD and tenure track job was hard, but it always felt more doable than fiction. At a certain point, I realized I had to choose between one dream and another. Doing both was draining all my energy. I hope things turn out well, whatever you decide to do!
