In early January I had a similar problem. But generally, it’s good to keep the first-person pronouns to a minimum. Personal stories are great, but I try to throw in a lot of “you” and “we” to make them relatable on the sentence level. The linguistics is tied to a bigger effort to make every sentence reach out to readers.
