I’m glad you wrote this. My guideline has been once a day, and usually 3–4 posts a week. Otherwise, your own stories are actually competing with each other for attention. When your overall story volume increases, readers will probably stumble across you a few times a day anyway. I think it’s important to try and write every day, read even more, and publish regularly but not all the time.
