I’d say shoot for 5–8 minutes. I’ve read that five minutes is the sweet spot where you can balance substance with brevity. With longer fiction pieces, I think it’s a good idea to break them up into 5–8 minute posts. For nonfiction/opinion, I’ve never read anything on here that really needed to be longer than 8 minutes.
