I think that’s pretty on point. When it comes to pandemics, screwing up less bad than your opponent doesn’t help much. We’ve been locked down the whole time, even after getting our vaccines. I was dismayed when the CDC lifted mask mandates and democrats basically ignored the threat delta posed until it started driving up cases again.
