I know people who've lived through terrorist bombings. I've studied Islam, Middle Eastern politics, and terrorism.
People *should* be fined for not wearing a mask because it's a threat to public health. The real science on this is clear, and has been for almost a year. The only reason we don't do it in the U.S. is because it would spark massive violence, and that's not an understatement. We had militia groups plotting to kidnap governors last year...
Do you have children? If not, then you can't possibly understand the fear and terror it puts into someone to watch a rich, powerful man tell your neighbors and people in your community to call the police on you for doing something that *protects* your family.
In America, having the police called on you isn't a pleasant experience. There's always a potential for someone to get hurt or put in jail, which dramatically raises your chances of becoming infected. Imagine what would happen to my daughter if she were taken away from me, even for a single afternoon. She could be exposed. If she didn't die, she could get extremely sick.
Tucker Carlson spreads hate and fear. He encourages violence, and he has *already* gotten people killed. That's terrorism.
Anyone who defends Tucker Carlson or tries to minimalize his impact doesn't understand what's going on.
