I agree. I don't want to knock vets. Many of them would be great teachers, and it would've been a good idea to set up teacher training programs for them that would allow them to teach while getting certified. The Florida plan strikes me as a way to simply abuse veterans further by using them to replace the teachers they burned out. Now they're just going to underpay veterans until they get burned out and quit.
