Hopefully, your daughter will get noticed and rewarded for that commitment. I think it’s fine to jump in and do the work for a little while. But if a pattern forms where you’re always expected to do that, you should consider other options. I’ll never simply neglect my responsibilities (or the bigger picture), but there comes a time when you have to make some choices.
