Here’s something I realized recently as a parent: “YOU’RE Disney World right now.” Granted my kid is only 2, but she already seems to understand. Yesterday she was playing with a stick. It just wasn’t as much fun if I also didn’t have a stick. So she shoved one in my hands.

Later I wondered: Is that all I have to do, play with a stick? Well, no. I have to play with the train. I have to play with the… whatever. Surprisingly easy, surprisingly hard.
