Glad it helped you! I’d say the only thing we truly owe our parents is to make the most of our own lives — whatever that means for us. That’s all I’m going to expect out of my kid, that he/she doesn’t squander the life I give her. As far as calling me every Sunday, fuck that. But who knows? Maybe I’ll get extremely lucky and we’ll actually kind of like each other.
