For what it's worth, I've never considered you sexist. I've heard some guys find this question helpful. Stop and ask yourself, "Would I do that to a guy? Would I ask a guy that question? Would I use that tone around another man?" Also, consider the last section. Almost everyone still has latent sexist or racist attitudes. Getting defensive about them makes things worse...
