For me at least, there’s never anything wrong with speaking up about how you think someone’s treating you. When I see men try to dominate meetings, they’re actually being pretty indirect and passive aggressive themselves — just in a different way. They’re trying to use tone of voice, phrasing, body language, etc, in order to convey their superiority. Honestly, I’d have more respect for them if they just said “I think I’m smarter than you, and that I have the best facts.” But they won’t do that, because you could actually challenge them through a direct conversation. Some women can pull the same shit, on men as well as other women.
