Every couple of months, I try to clean up my following.

It’s not easy to choose who to follow but 2 quick tips are to be wary and don’t unfollow your friends or writers you enjoy, and also unfollow people who do not have descriptions. This shows they do not put as much effort into their profile. It is not a foolproof method, but it is a way to sort of separate the serious from the casual.

Every couple of months, I try to clean up my following. If I haven’t read anything by someone in several weeks, then I just unfollow. Nothing personal. Who knows? I might follow them again later.
