Cambridge University just released a study comparing bitcoin's C02 emissions to countries like New Zealand and Norway, and barely 5 percent of the world even knows what cryptocurrency is. Imagine what would happen if bitcoin goes mainstream, like everyone wants. It's a disaster waiting to happen, and people who defend it rely on their own brand of logical fallacies and wishful thinking.
