AI and profit don’t belong together. I know we can’t prevent every death that’s going to result from AI, but we can strip out the profit motive. Make it illegal to sell AI. Make it illegal to replace someone with an algorithm. Is that extreme? So is letting AI drive a new wave of poverty, homelessness, and suicidal depression.
