Agreed; I think there’s a big difference between someone who struggles with relationships, and someone who decides to join a movement that specifically blames women and “society” for their problems. That’s what the word incel usually denotes — not just a lack of sex, but a specific mindset that’s not so different from what we see elsewhere these days. I think someone could even have a sexual partner and still carry around an incel mindset with them, right?
