Hi there.

So you’ve decided you don’t want the coronavirus vaccine. That would be fine under normal circumstances. Pharmacies offer the flu shot every single year, and it’s always up to individuals.

This time, it’s different.

We’ve been invaded by an enemy. This enemy is small but deadly. It might’ve come from a lab, or maybe just a bat. Nobody knows yet. All we know is that it spares a handful of people, and then decimates the next. Scientists have tried to figure out who’s most at risk. At one point, we thought it was old people. Then we thought it was unhealthy people.

Now, it looks like everyone’s fair game — even kids.

Our understanding has evolved, because this thing has only been around for a year. We’re still learning about it.

And it’s changing.

Every free society has rules.

We live in a largely free society, but it still has rules. You still have to stop at red lights and stop signs. You still have to wear a seat belt. You can’t harass or stalk people. You have to wear a shirt in public (and pants). You have to buy insurance. You can’t punch someone just because you don’t like them. You can’t hang…
